Kindermusik provides an
exceptional musical learning experience
for young children and their families.
Through music, developmentally
appropriate activities, and parent-child
interaction, this program will not only
instill a lifetime love of music in your
child, it will inspire and stimulate
your child to explore, create, and
learn.

Why Kindermusik?
My first response to this question is
this: it is so much fun! When I am in
music class with my son, he is having
fun, I am having fun, and he’s learning
about music....and so much more! I
realize, however, that having fun is not
always a good enough reason to do
something So, here are the other, more
research-backed reasons:
- Kindermusik classes instill a
lifetime love of music in your child
- Music and movement have proven to
enhance a child’s total development,
including physical, language,
cognitive, social, emotional, and, of
course, musical.
- Each activity in a Kindermusik
classroom is developmentally
appropriate, chosen in order to
encourage development in each child,
while honoring the varying rate at
which these developments proceed.
- Kindermusik is child-centered and
process-, not performance- oriented.
- Classes provide an opportunity to
teach, learn with, and encourage your
child at a crucial time in his/her
life.
Why At-Home Materials?
At-Home Materials are an integral part
of the Kindermusik program. They allow
the class experience to continue in the
child’s most comfortable environment –
at home with parents. The materials help
familiarize the children with the music
and activities we will be doing in
class. With At-Home Materials, the
entire family can participate in music
together, as often as they like.

"We
have gotten more out of the music
class than you can ever imagine.
William loves to listen to the music
on our IPOD and act out the songs.
When we are in the car he sings all of
the songs (along with the songs from
the Back Yardigans). Also, we eat
pancakes a lot, and we always sing
Pancake Day. Thanks for hours of
entertainment!"
Danah, mother
of William, age 2
"Noah is very proud of
his instruments (We got him some
shakers, bells and a harmonica for
Christmas.) and likes to use
them. I've also noticed that
the class helps his language
skills. He takes sentence
structure and vocabulary right
from the lyrics we learn."
Kristin, mother
of Noah, age 2
"Eli has
been really singing a lot lately, and
when we listen to our music from class,
he now does some of the movements all on
his own....it is so cool to see that
part of him continue to develop even now
when we are living so far away! It
really affirms having done the classes
in the first place, because I can see
that he is still benefitting from them
today."
Megan, mother
of Eli, age 2
